Lime coleus
Lime is one of the lightest coleus colors and it really glows next to everything dark and vivid. Here you will find the lime green varieties. All are grown from true to type seeds, so every plant gets its variety's colors and traits.
Which lime variety should you choose?
Lime coleus come in everything from compact varieties to real giants.
- Giant Exhibition Limelight – large glowing lime green leaves.
- Premium Sun Lime Delight – glowing lime-colored leaves on a variety that grows 70 cm tall and takes sun as well.
- Kong Lime Sprite – enormous lime green leaves with a mahogany-colored center.
- Wizard Golden – chartreuse-colored leaves on a compact variety that grows 30–35 cm tall.

How to make the lime color truly shine
The lime color is actually chartreuse with equal parts green and yellow. The more light the plant gets, the more the yellow comes through and the more the leaves glow in lime. If the plant is in too dark a spot, the green takes over and the leaves darken. Place the plant in a bright spot and the color keeps its full glow all season. Are there lime coleus?

Why isn't my lime coleus glowing?
Usually it comes down to light. If the plant is in too dark a spot, the green takes over and the leaves darken. Move it to a brighter spot and the leaves get their glowing lime color back.
